idleness

I have grown tired of my idleness.Jesus did not ask for a piece of myself but for the whole thing!I was not chosen to merely blend in and live in what is comfortable.what was I thinking when I prayed for a heart like his?? What was I expecting? Now Im sitting here with an anxious heart with no idea what is going on inside me. Why should I be surprised then when this life I now live is leaving me yearning for something else. The day I let him into my soul, he planted something in me that has been growing and has now ran out of room in the life i now lead. After all "faith without deeds is dead"
I ready lord. Im ready to stop talking for a minute and listen to what you want from me. Im ready to start believing in you. Which is the hardest part isn't it?Because to believe in you, is to disbelieve myself.

I wasn't able to sleep tonight and ended up coming across your other blog (It looks like you don't update there anymore so I chose to comment here, I hope you don't mind.)

I just read through all your entries and it's so odd to see the store through someone else's eyes.

I worked at the Winter Park branch the same time as you (aug. 2006 - aug. 2008) but I worked grocery.

I vaguely remember you but not sure if you'd remember me. I definitely remember Will, Lari (she was FINALLY fired not too long after you left), and Theresa (and of course Paul and Lindsey). I seem to remember you and Will just didn't show up one day and we never saw you again, but I might have the details mixed up...a lot of people just disappeared over the two years I was there.

I wish I had known your situation more so I could help. I'm sorry to say I was probably too caught up in my own life and busy flirting with our manager, Matthew (we're married now and have escaped Chamberlin's :)

I'd love to hear more of your story. I really enjoy your writing style.

How I came across your blog:

Every once in awhile I'll google Chamberlin's just to see if I can find other people that have worked there.

The other night I searched "work at Chamberlins" and your blog was the last result that came up.

So glad I found you! It's always nice to find another christian blogger :)

Congrats on your marriage and beautiful baby!
